Florida’s Elected Constitutional Officers to Speak in Support of CRC Proposal 13

TALLAHASSEE – Representatives of Constitutional Officer Resource Experts (C.O.R.E.) will hold a press conference midday on Monday, March 19 at the Capitol to voice support for Proposal 13 under review by the Constitution Revision Commission. Proposal 13 would amend the language already in the Florida Constitution to state that the offices of Sheriff, Clerk of Court, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections must be elected by county citizens and counties cannot eliminate these offices.
